A continuous approximation fitting to the discrete distributions using ODE
The probability density functions fitting to the discrete probability functions has always been needed, and very important. This paper is fitting the continuous curves which are probability density functions to the binomial probability functions, negative binomial geometrics, poisson and hypergeometric. The main key in these fittings is the use of the derivative concept and common differential ...
متن کاملA greedy algorithm for yield surface approximation
This Note presents an approximation method for convex yield surfaces in the framework of yield design theory. The proposed algorithm constructs an approximation using a convex hull of ellipsoids such that the approximate criterion can be formulated in terms of second-order conic constraints. The algorithm can treat bounded as well as unbounded yield surfaces. Its efficiency is illustrated on tw...

متن کاملa 10-bit 50-ms/s parallel successive-approximation analog-to-digital converter
applications such as high definition viedeo reproduction, portable computers, wireless, and multimedia demand, and ever-increasing need for ligh-frequency high-resolution and low-power analog-to-digital converters. flash, two-step flash, and pipeline convertors are fast but consume large amount of power and require large area. to overcome these problems, successive approximation converter blo...
15 صفحه اولA Five-Parameter Yield Surface
This paper is on the elasto-plastic analysis of plane stress problems. A five-parameter yield surface is presented. This yield criterion uses associate flow along with mixed hardening rule. The analytical formulations are written and related computer program for non-linear analysis is prepared. Finally, based on the formulations, numerical examples are solved.
